Welcome to the Town of Colchester Planning Board website page. The Board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm at Town Hall (72 Tannery Road, Downsville, NY 13755). However, meetings may be cancelled if there are no items on the agenda or due to inclement weather. To be placed on the agenda, contact Alan J. - To combine two or more adjacent properties that YOU already own: This requires an application for Same Owner(s) to Combine Two or More Adjacent Tax Parcels.
- To move the boundary line between your property and an adjacent property owned by someone else: This requires a Boundary Line Adjustment (BLA) application.
- To divide your parcel into two, three or four parcels: This requires you to apply for Minor Subdivision Review. To divide your parcel into five or more parcels requires you to apply for Major Subdivision Review. (Note – Previous subdivisions since 1991 count toward this total). For Major Subdivisions please contact Planning Board Chairperson directly.
